Ardèche

Located on the western edge of the Rhône Valley, the Ardèche is a rugged and diverse wine region shaped by steep hills, limestone plateaus, volcanic soils and winding river valleys. Its vineyards benefit from a warm Mediterranean influence, balanced by altitude and cooler nights that help preserve freshness and aromatic definition.

The region is best known for expressive wines made from Syrah, Grenache, Gamay and Pinot Noir for reds, alongside Viognier, Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc and local varieties for whites. Ardèche is also home to adventurous growers working with old vines, organic and biodynamic farming, and minimal-intervention winemaking, giving the region a strong reputation among contemporary wine lovers.
