Domaine Roc des Anges

In the wild foothills of the Pyrenees, Domaine Roc des Anges expresses one of the most distinctive terroirs of the Roussillon. Its vineyards lie on predominantly north-facing hillsides between roughly 100 and 500 metres altitude, rooted in ancient, fractured schist soils that naturally bring freshness, tension and mineral precision to the wines.

Founded by Marjorie and Stéphane Gallet, Roc des Anges works with a remarkable mosaic of small parcels, including many old and century-old vines. Native Catalan varieties such as Carignan, Grenache Noir, Grenache Gris, Grenache Blanc and Macabeu are cultivated with meticulous attention to the individual character of each site. The estate has been certified organic since 2008 and biodynamic since 2011.

The wines combine Mediterranean depth with unusual energy and finesse: vibrant fruit, savoury complexity, fine tannins and a distinctive mineral freshness. From expressive reds such as Segna de Cor and Reliefs to refined whites and rare oxidative wines, Roc des Anges offers a compelling expression of modern Roussillon rooted firmly in its landscape.
