Domaine Roc des Anges Segna de Cor 2023
A vibrant, juicy Roussillon red combining Grenache Noir, Carignan, Syrah and Cinsault with violet, cassis, cherry and spice, framed by graphite minerality and fine tannins — awarded 94/100 by Le Figaro Vin and 90/100 by Bettane+Desseauve.
🍇 About the wine
Domaine Roc des Anges Segna de Cor 2023 is the domaine’s most immediately accessible red cuvée, crafted from younger vines on the schist soils around Montner and the terraces of the Agly valley. The blend brings together Grenache Noir, Carignan, Syrah and Cinsault, combining Mediterranean fruit with the freshness and finesse that define Roc des Anges.
The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats, using whole berries and whole bunches. The wine is then aged for approximately nine months in concrete, preserving its bright fruit, supple texture and mineral energy.
