Dupéré Barrera TLM 2020
A bold, deeply concentrated Provençal red, shaped by an exceptionally long maceration, with ripe red fruit, chocolate nuances, powerful structure and Mediterranean warmth.
🍷 Tasting notes
Deep cherry-red colour. The nose is intense and generous, dominated by very ripe red fruits, complemented by dark chocolate, spice and subtle oak. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, with substantial structure from the prolonged extraction, yet retains an appealing ripe-fruit character. The finish is long, warm and chocolate-tinged. La Revue du Vin de France similarly characterises TLM as the more structured Dupéré Barrera red, highlighting its chocolate tone and muscular profile.
🍽️ Food pairing
Particularly suited to wild boar stew, Provençal daube, slow-cooked beef, roast lamb, grilled red meats and game. Its concentration also makes it a good partner for richly seasoned Mediterranean dishes. The producer specifically recommends daube de sanglier.
