🍇 About the wine

Château d'Esther Bordeaux Supérieur 2018 is a characterful red from varied clay-silt alluvial and sandy soils. The blend brings together Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, combining generous dark fruit with the structure and depth of classic Bordeaux.

The grapes are hand-picked into crates and carefully sorted by hand. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts at a deliberately low yield of 35 hl/ha. The wine is then aged for 18 months in barrels, with 20% new oak and 80% one-year-old barrels.

Appearance: Dark ruby with shimmering highlights.
Nose: Vibrant aromas of ripe black fruit.
Palate: Concentrated and composed, with dark-fruit depth shaped by extended barrel ageing.
Finish: Remarkably long, with a distinctive note of cherry stone.
