Château de Lavernette Beaujolais-Villages 2023
A pure, juicy biodynamic Gamay with cherry, strawberry and gentle spice, combining silky tannins with the freshness and drinkability that make Beaujolais so versatile.
🍇 About the wine
Château de Lavernette Beaujolais-Villages 2023 is a vibrant expression of Gamay from the hills around Leynes. The vines are farmed organically and biodynamically, with careful soil work and low-intervention winemaking designed to preserve fruit, freshness and the character of the granitic terroir.
The estate favours traditional open-vat fermentation and maceration rather than relying on a strongly carbonic style. The result is a wine with immediate fruit but also genuine structure and savoury depth.
