Château de Lavernette Beaujolais-Leynes Le Clos Cuvée Jadis 2023
A serious, cellar-worthy Gamay from Le Clos, combining ripe dark fruit, spice and savoury depth with fine tannins and the mineral freshness of Leynes.
🍇 About the wine
Cuvée Jadis 2023 is Château de Lavernette’s more ambitious expression of Beaujolais-Leynes from the Le Clos site. Organically and biodynamically farmed Gamay is handled with patience in the cellar to build greater depth, structure and complexity while retaining the variety’s natural energy.
Traditional maceration and ageing in seasoned wood give the wine a layered, savoury profile without obscuring its dark cherry fruit and granitic freshness.
