Château de Lavernette Beaujolais-Leynes Le Clos 2023
A deeper, more structured Gamay from Leynes, combining black cherry and cassis with spice, savoury complexity and satin-textured tannins.
🍇 About the wine
Le Clos 2023 is a concentrated Beaujolais-Leynes from Château de Lavernette, made from Gamay grown with certified organic and biodynamic methods. The clos gives a more structured expression than the estate’s immediately fruity Beaujolais-Villages, with depth and texture built around ripe fruit and fine tannins.
Longer maceration and élevage in seasoned wood add savoury complexity while keeping the wine’s fruit and granitic energy intact.
