Château de Lavernette Beaujolais Blanc Les Vignes de la Roche 2023
A bright, mineral Chardonnay from the southern Beaujolais, combining white flowers, stone fruit and citrus freshness with the precision of organic and biodynamic farming.
🍇 About the wine
Château de Lavernette Les Vignes de la Roche 2023 is a dry Beaujolais Blanc made from Chardonnay on the limestone-influenced slopes around Leynes. The estate has long worked organically and biodynamically, aiming for purity, balance and a clear expression of place.
The grapes are whole-cluster pressed on arrival, followed by cool settling and a controlled fermentation. Natural malolactic fermentation and ageing on fine lees bring subtle texture while preserving the wine’s floral lift and lively acidity.
