Château de la Selve L'audacieuse Rosé 2024
A serious gastronomic rosé from the Ardèche, combining red berries and citrus with remarkable freshness, subtle spice and mineral depth, matured on its lees in demi-muids and amphora.
Tasting notes
Appearance: Very pale, crystalline pink with excellent brilliance.
Nose: Intense and refined, with redcurrant, wild strawberry and fresh citrus, complemented by delicate floral and lightly toasted nuances. The 2024 shows redcurrant, citrus and a subtle grilled note.
Palate: Dry, precise and surprisingly structured for a rosé. Fresh red fruit and citrus are supported by fine acidity, mineral tension and a subtle textural richness from the long lees ageing. The finish is persistent, fresh and fruit-driven.
Style: This is emphatically not a simple summer rosé. L’Audacieuse is conceived as a rosé de terroir: vinified and matured more like a serious gastronomic white, with considerable texture, complexity and ageing potential.

Food pairing
This is where L’Audacieuse becomes particularly interesting. Its structure and lees ageing allow it to accompany dishes normally beyond the scope of rosé:
Tuna tataki • grilled red mullet • lobster • grilled prawns • bouillabaisse • Mediterranean vegetables • lamb tagine • couscous • Thai cuisine • Indian curries • mildly spicy Asian dishes.
Positioning
L’Audacieuse is the premium gastronomic rosé: old vines, low yields, parcel selection, biodynamics, indigenous fermentation and 12 months on lees in demi-muids and amphora.
That makes it particularly suitable for restaurant wine lists where you want to demonstrate that rosé can be a serious food wine rather than merely an aperitif.
A remarkable biodynamic rosé from old vines in the Ardèche. Redcurrant, wild strawberry and citrus meet subtle spice and mineral tension, while 12 months on the lees in demi-muids and amphora give exceptional texture, complexity and length.
