Château de la Selve Berty 2023
A deep and refined biodynamic Ardèche red, combining ripe dark fruit, Mediterranean herbs and spice with fine tannins and remarkable freshness.
🍇 About the wine
Berty is an ambitious red wine from Château de la Selve, produced from Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault. It combines Mediterranean richness with finesse, freshness and a beautifully balanced structure.
Ripe black cherry, blackberry and dark plum are joined by pepper, dried herbs and garrigue. Eighteen months of ageing in used barrels and amphorae bring complexity and texture without overwhelming the purity of the fruit.
