Rich and refined Chardonnay with ripe citrus, brioche notes and a fresh mineral backbone, ideal with creamy fish dishes and poultry.

🍷 Tasting Notes

Appearance brilliant pale gold with luminous reflections.

Nose refined and layered aromatics:

  • White flowers (honeysuckle, acacia)
  • Citrus zest and subtle stone fruit
  • Light buttery and brioche notes
  • Hint of anise and delicate vanilla from oak aging

Palate

  • Round, ample and velvety texture
  • Generous fruit (citrus, mandarin, yellow fruits)
  • Creamy mid-palate with brioche and almond tones
  • Balanced by a fresh, slightly acidulated lift
  • Persistent mineral finish typical of clay-limestone terroir

Structure & Style a powerful yet elegant Viré-Clessé, combining:

  • Old-vine concentration
  • Controlled oak influence (12 months demi-muid)
  • Gastronomic depth with freshness

👉 More structured and complex than Mâcon-Villages, yet still approachable.

🧠 Sommelier Insight

This cuvée is a gastronomic Chardonnay with real presence:

  • More power and structure than entry-level Mâcon wines

👉 Ideal for:

  • Premium by-the-glass programs
  • Tasting menus with creamy or umami-driven dishes
