La Casa di Bricciano Chianti Classico 2022
A vibrant and elegant organic Chianti Classico, expressing the freshness, purity and refined character of Gaiole in Chianti.
🥂 Tasting Notes
Appearance brilliant ruby red with youthful purple reflections, displaying remarkable clarity and freshness.
Aroma the nose is bright and inviting, offering aromas of fresh cherry, wild strawberry and red plum, complemented by delicate violet blossoms and hints of dried thyme and rosemary. Subtle notes of cedar, sweet spices and a touch of cocoa from careful oak ageing add complexity while preserving the wine's vibrant fruit character.
Palate medium to full-bodied with impressive elegance and precision. Juicy red berries and ripe cherries are supported by lively acidity, silky tannins and a beautiful mineral backbone derived from the limestone-rich soils of Gaiole in Chianti. The balance between freshness, fruit concentration and savoury complexity makes the wine both approachable and structured.
Finish long, fresh and harmonious, with lingering flavours of red cherries, gentle spice, dried herbs and a subtle earthy minerality. The finish is refined, persistent and unmistakably Tuscan.
Ageing Potential enjoy now for its youthful vibrancy or cellar for 8–10 years. With bottle ageing, the wine will gain additional complexity, developing notes of dried cherries, leather, tobacco and forest floor while maintaining its elegant structure.
