Between the Mediterranean Sea and the Alpine foothills lies a third marvel—this time shaped by human hands: the Provençal vineyard. Stretching over 200 kilometres across the Var, Bouches-du-Rhône and parts of the Alpes-Maritimes, its sun-drenched landscapes form one of France’s most iconic wine regions.

Bathed in southern light, the scenery is strikingly beautiful. Step into the vineyards and a sense of ease and holiday spirit naturally takes hold—an atmosphere that seems to be reflected in the character of the wines themselves.

In Provence, rosé is more than a wine style; it is a true art de vivre. The region’s climate, limestone-rich soils and perfectly adapted grape varieties create ideal conditions for producing fresh, elegant and expressive rosés. It is therefore no surprise that Provence stands as France’s leading rosé-producing region, with 157 million AOC bottles produced in 2022, representing 91% of the region’s total wine production.
