Region & Parcel: Bourgogne Blanc from the “Les Thorains” parcel, produced by Domaine de la Verpaille in the Viré-Clessé / Mâconnais area of southern Burgundy.
Variety & Viticulture: 100% Chardonnay, organic viticulture, modest yields (60 hl/ha noted) from vines averaging around 17 years on this parcel. 
Colour: Pale, clear gold with a slight limpid shine. 
Aroma: Bright and inviting. Think fresh white fruits (apple, pear), summer peach, hints of citrus peel and subtle floral notes.
Palate: Medium body, clean and balanced. The fruit is crisp (pear, white apple), comes with freshness, and the texture is smooth and round. The finish is fresh, with gentle minerality.
Food Pairing: Excellent with fresh seafood or shellfish, grilled white fish, mild cheeses, or as a refined aperitif. Serve around 10-12 °C.
Drinking Window: Enjoyable now, best in the next 2-3 years for freshness; some structure will support longer.
