Intense purple robe. Nose of red fruits as blackberry, blackcurrant, small berries. It is a velvet wine; the density of the fruit blends with the frank and delicate tannins. It finds its strength in balance. The whole is silky, elegant and long.
Pairings with duck breast and raspberries, stuffed vine leaves, roast beef, white meats, veal cutlet with mushrooms, cheeses.
Vinification: manual harvest. Sorting in the vineyard. Destemming. Native yeast. Maceration 18 to 20 days. Pumping over and punching down. Aging 6 months in concrete vats.
