Aging for 6 months in oak barrels

Exception 2022 is a classic Jura red that combines the regional uniqueness of Trousseau with thoughtful, low-intervention winemaking. It offers expressive fruit and spice, refined structure, and pairs exceptionally well with both bold meats and traditional cheeses such as Morbier.

The grape variety is 100% trousseau coming from a Bajocian limestone terroir with a western exposure. The yield is 40 hl/ha. Vatting takes place for 10 days with pumping over and fermentation takes place in vats with the skins. Aging takes place in an oak barrel container for a period of 6 months. The wine is unfined, with light filtration.
