La Casa di Bricciano The Lord 2012
Premium organic Tuscan IGT red (special blend; limited production with extended élevage). The Lord is a very special wine with a long barrel and bottle aging program, the profile will is very rich and complex.
Appearance
Deep ruby to garnet core; shows maturity and concentration.
Nose / Aromatics
Intense and layered aromatics of ripe dark fruit (black cherry, plum), supported by spice and toast from prolonged French oak influence. Secondary notes include leather, tobacco, cedar, and forest floor, reflecting extended aging.
Palate
Full-bodied with firm but integrated tannins, good structure, and depth. Flavors combine concentrated dark berries with complex tertiary notes such as coffee, cocoa, and balsamic herbs. Balanced acidity keeps the wine fresh despite richness.
Finish
Long, savory finish with a muscular texture and persistent spice character.
Food Pairing
High-end Tuscan reds like The Lord benefit from equally robust cuisine. Suggested pairings:
Red Meats
Grilled ribeye, T-bone or entrecôte.
Roast lamb with rosemary and garlic
Slow-braised beef cheeks or oxtail
Rich Italian Classics
Wild boar ragu with pappardelle
Osso buco (veal shank)
Beef or pork braciole
Hard & Mature Cheeses
Parmigiano-Reggiano
Pecorino Toscano stagionato
Aged Manchego or Comté
Hearty Accompaniments
Mushroom risotto or truffle-accented dishes
Polenta with wild mushroom ragù

These pairings work because the wine’s richness, structure, and savory complexity can stand up to umami-rich foods and satisfying meats, while acidity balances fat and refreshes the palate.
