This climate overlooks the Lavières. The soil is made up of sandy marl, while the top of the hill is ferruginous oolitic limestone. It is one of the finest wines of the village, fruity, very fragrant, “all in lace”, light in character. As it ages, it acquires a bouquet of red fruits that are very pleasant on the palate, but the color becomes less colorful. This wine calls for red meat, game birds and poultry.
