🥂 Tasting Notes

Appearance: Medium to deep garnet colour. 
Nose: Dark and savoury with nuances of black cherry, blackberry, black licorice, white pepper, earthy mushrooms and forest-floor undertones. 
Palate: A compelling combination of ripe dark fruit and structure: smoky dark berries, basil and subtle clove spice. The tannins are well-integrated yet present, acidity fresh, giving a long finish marked by mineral tones and a savoury dry edge. 
Food Pairing: Versatile enough to partner robust dishes: grilled lamb, beef, rich stews, mature cheeses, or simply as a contemplative wine on its own. The structure and depth reward a bit of age or decanting for immediate enjoyment.
