Sparkling Wine
Sparkling wine is any wine with bubbles—created by dissolved carbon dioxide—giving it a fizzy, refreshing texture.
It’s the broad category that includes Champagne, Crémant, Prosecco, Cava, Pét-Nat, and many others. Essentially, if it’s wine and it sparkles, it’s sparkling wine.
Champagne – The iconic French sparkling wine from the Champagne region, famous for its elegance, fine bubbles, and luxurious feel.
Crémant – France’s sparkling secret outside Champagne, made in the same traditional way but often softer on the wallet.
Pét-Nat – Short for *pétillant naturel*, the funky, natural bubbly made with an ancient method, giving a fresh, unfiltered, and sometimes wild character.
