Tasting Notes

Deep, almost impenetrable ruby red with garnet reflections. The nose is intense and sophisticated, revealing aromas of black cherry, blackberry compote, plum, cacao, tobacco, leather, licorice and balsamic herbs, layered with elegant oak spices such as vanilla, clove and cedar. On the palate, it is full-bodied, concentrated and structured, with remarkable depth, silky tannins and a long, persistent finish marked by dark fruit, spice and mineral freshness. A wine combining power, elegance and refinement.

Food Pairing

Outstanding with grilled ribeye, aged beef, braised meats, wild game, lamb, truffle dishes, mushroom risotto, aged hard cheeses and rich Mediterranean cuisine. Also excellent with slow-cooked Italian dishes and powerful sauces.
