    Vineyard

Sauvignon Blanc grapes are sourced from Quinta de Santa Teresa in the Vinho Verde region. The Atlantic climate, with strong maritime influence, promotes slow, even ripening and preserves high natural acidity. Vineyard practices focus on maintaining aromatic intensity and freshness, key to the varietal’s expression.

    Vinification

Grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, typically during the cooler hours of the day to preserve aromatic precursors and freshness. A gentle pneumatic pressing is applied to minimize phenolic extraction and maintain aromatic purity. The must undergoes static cold settling to achieve clean fermentation conditions. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Cool fermentation temperatures are carefully maintained to enhance the varietal’s characteristic aromatics, including citrus, tropical fruit, and herbal notes.

The wine is aged on fine lees for a short period to add texture and complexity while preserving its crisp, vibrant profile. There is no significant oak influence, ensuring a pure and precise Sauvignon Blanc expression.

The winemaking philosophy emphasizes aromatic clarity, freshness, and tension. The result is a lively, mineral-driven Sauvignon Blanc with vibrant acidity, expressive fruit character, and a clean, persistent finish reflective of its Atlantic terroir.
