COSI: Camparo's interpretation of Nebbiolo is sophisticated, kind, and genuine. Nebbiolo, the most territorial vine in the Langhe region, is grown at Camparo. Because the production honors the vine's natural vocation without pressuring it to grow farther, the amount of wood used is such that it does not overpower the vine's oenological qualities. Fine and delicate wine with a well-defined structure that is elegant. Light red variety, with notes of aging wood and a distinct scent of violet, rose, and red berries. The palate displays a strong yet refined character, with non-invasive tannins and an almost sweet finish.
It goes well with medium-aged cheeses, white and red meats, soups, and appetizers.
