Domaine de Congy is located in Saint-Andelain and belongs to the AOC Pouilly Fumé. It is the only appellation where part of the name refers to a characteristic of the wine. The Fumé comes from the substrate in which there is flint (pierre à fusil). This gives the wine an unmistakable mineral and smoked character.
