A beautifully restrained and mineral white Burgundy. The 2022 vintage, while warmer, retains notable freshness in this wine, likely due to the cooler Bruchots site. It offers a classic expression of Côte de Beaune Chardonnay — not flashy, but quietly complex, terroir-driven, and elegant.
This wine comes from a 30-year-old plot of vines called “Les Bruchots”. This plot is located towards the Hautes Cotes de Beaune, slightly at altitude. The clay-limestone soil is very stony. Alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation take place in old oak barrels of 2 to 4 wines. This wine goes well with fatty fish, seafood, mild and soft cheese and cold meats.
