Aging for 18 months in oak barrels (not new)

South of the village of Puy-Notre-Dame, lies the troglodyte village of Chavannes which is home to the Cabernet Franc clos which are used to produce this intense and complex wine. This generous tufa soil gives the grapes a rich and fruity juice. The best juices are then selected which are patiently aged in oak barrels to tame its power. This wine can perfectly continue to age in your cellar for 10 years, it will go well with red meats, game and tagines.
