A great sweet wine from Coteaux du Layon! From the very last harvest in November, this selection of Grains Nobles is probably one of the richest ever harvested at La Viaudière. Think: almost 23 degree potential at harvest! A sweet wine from Coteaux du Layon having benefited both from passerillage, thanks to exceptional weather, and botrytis cinerea for noble rot. You will thus appreciate very ample and long notes of quince, honey and vanilla. The end of the mouth nevertheless retains a beautiful liveliness thanks to an elegant minerality. I recommend it on its own, at the start of a meal with toast of foie gras or blue cheese for a nice moment of gastronomy. An exceptional food and wine pairing!
