La Casa di Bricciano Sangiovese 2015
Aged 16 months in French oak barrels
It is the wine that most represents this region, being Sangiovese almost pure plus 2% Ancellotta with a strong character. Red fruits and concentrated black fruit notes. Perfectly integrated woody flavor while retaining freshness. Very good length. Sangiovese and tomato is a classic combination. Pair the wine with tomato-based dishes such as red sauce pasta. Spaghetti and meatballs, the Italian-influenced American dish, famous the world over, or preparations with marinara sauce, like ravioli alla marinara, are brilliant pairings with Sangiovese. Steaks are also very nice with this wine especially entre-côte with some fat.
