🍷 Gregor Schup Ried Schwaben Rotgipfler 2016 shows a deep, strong yellow colour with a smoky, very intense bouquet that layers aromas of cooked rhubarb, orange peel, honey, gooseberries and sugar snap peas. On the palate it’s powerful and full-bodied with a firm backbone, fine fruit expression and very convincing length. The wine has a rich, ripe texture with notes of almond, buttery floral tones and subtle vegetal hints, and will continue to evolve with further bottle age.

Pairing suggestion: Try with richer fish dishes, roasted poultry or creamy pasta — its structure and intensity stand up well to flavourful food.
