Chenin, also called Pinot de la Loire, is the historic grape of the hillsides of La Viaudière. It was harvested here at maturity, by hand, during the month of October. You will discover a lovely lemony freshness on the palate, with just enough liveliness to bring out its notes of tangerine, grapefruit and pear. I strongly recommend it with fish and seafood, as well as with friends at aperitif time.

Le Chenin, aussi appelé Pinot de la Loire, est le cépage historique de nos coteaux. Il a été ici récolté à maturité, à la main, au courant du mois d’octobre. Vous découvrirez une belle fraîcheur citronnée en bouche, avec juste ce qu’il faut de vivacité pour faire mettre en valeur ses notes de mandarine, de pamplemousse et de poire. Je vous le conseille vivement avec poissons et fruits de mer, tout autant qu’entres amis à l’heure de l’apéritif.
