There’s a cheerful score being played here! To start with, a lively and striking purple-red. On the nose there is a composition of juicy and more acidulated little red fruits. The picture fills out on the palate with a full, dense texture. Fruits of the forest, spice and liquorice share the scene. The finish is persistent, a well anchored Chorey with fine depth. At the table, this is to drink with a snack, a cheeseburger with époisses, pasta à la carbonara, or perhaps roasted chicken or grilled steak. Drink now or over 8-10 years depending on the vintage.

C’est une jolie partition qui se joue ici ! Une ouverture vive et éclatante d’un rouge violacé. Au nez, c’est une composition de petits fruits rouges juteux et acidulés. Le tableau s’étoffe en bouche avec une texture dense et pleine. Fruits des bois, épices et réglisse se partagent la scène. Une finale persistante, un Chorey bien ancré et de belle profondeur. Plutôt à table, pour accompagner un mâchon, un burger à l’époisses, des pâtes à la carbonara ou encore un poulet rôti ou des grillades de boeuf. À déguster maintenant jusqu’à ses 8-10 ans selon les millésimes.
