A sparkling, full-bodied red color introduces a delicate nose of wild strawberry, rose and spice with a minty freshness. Elegance and refinement for this magnificent Échezeaux. The attack is frank and precise, the palate is salivating, sappy and racy. Its flowery, fruity and spicy tones are distilled throughout the palate. A taffeta wine as Rabelais would say. A nugget to savor! A treat with a grilled rib steak and roasted apples with thyme, a deer stir-fry with redcurrant jelly or fine Brillat-Savarin cheeses. Leave them on for 6 to 7 years before thinking about tasting it. For the more patient, to drink over the next 15 to 20 years or more depending on the vintage.
