Nose of candied orange, vanilla and spices. Spherical mouth with opulent substance, balanced and tense by superb acidity. The whole thing is long, complex and terribly delicious.
Giant prawns glazed with citrus fruits, sweetbreads with orange. It will have its place on a table surrounded by friends.
70% Upper Cretaceous clay and flint formation. 30% Buzançais limestones from the Lower Kimmeridgian. Natural vinification, fermentation 100% with native yeasts, in French Oak barrels (500 liters) and aging on the harvest lees for around ten months. After racking and blending, Mélodie will remain on its lees for one more year before bottling. This wine has not undergone any treatment or fining.
