Muscat Beaumes-de-Venise has been classified as AOC since 1943 for white "vins doux naturel" wines. The grape variety used is 100% muscat à petit grains.
Although there is a long tradition of winemaking in Gigondas, its wines first achieved official recognition in 1971 when it obtained its own appellation Gigondas, Cru des Côtes du Rhône. Gigondas wines represent a very particular expression of Grenache grown at altitude, with Syrah and Mourvèdre. They combine carefully-controlled power, elegance, finesse and freshness. The limestone of the Dentelles de Montmirail brings a distinct minerality to this very specific cru from the southern Rhône Valley.
Vacqueyras acquired its own “CRU” appellation in 1990. The winegrower enhance the unique features of this terroir and create meticulous blends giving the wines finesse, harmony and balance.
On May 15, 1936, the appellation Châteauneuf-du-Pape became France's leading wine AOC. The Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020 is a soothed, round and balanced vintage.

JP Guyon baie par baie

Jean-Pierre Guyon uses "baie par baie technique" already since 2020. The result is called the pinot caviar: grapes destemmed by hand, berry by berry, with a pair of scissors - leaving the grapes intact with the pedicels in place.
