The name of the vineyard, that enjoys a beautiful location in the village of Castellinaldo, comes from “marasca”, a variety of cherries once quite commonly grown throughout in Roero vineyards. The key in producing this truly intense and elegant wine is with a green harvest, a thinning out process during the growing season that allows the remaining grapes to over-mature on the plant. This wine is produced only in the very best vintages.
Deep ruby colour with violet reflections. In the nose it shows notes of baked red fruit, cherries, sweet spices, followed by a great warmth, structure and elegance in the mouth. Pairs well with main courses or simply like a meditation wine.

Le nom du vignoble, qui bénéficie d'un bel emplacement dans le village de Castellinaldo, vient de « marasca », une variété de cerises autrefois assez couramment cultivées dans les vignobles du Roero. La clé pour produire ce vin vraiment intense et élégant réside dans une vendange verte, un processus d'éclaircissage pendant la saison de croissance qui permet aux raisins restants de sur-mûrir sur la plante. Ce vin n'est produit que dans les meilleurs millésimes.
Robe rubis profond aux reflets violets. Au nez, il montre des notes de fruits rouges cuits, de cerises, d'épices douces, suivies d'une grande chaleur, structure et élégance en bouche. Se marie bien avec les plats principaux ou tout simplement comme un vin de méditation.
