Wine Pairing Coalfish
Coalfish is a cheap fish, it does not belong to the noble fish species. It is often breaded and then fried (fish sticks are often made from pollock). Coalfish is accompanied by a simple white wine, such as a young Chardonnay from Southern Europe or the New World, a "vin de pays" from Gascony, an Italian wine from Trebbiano, or a wine from Rioja.
