Bodegas Bagordi Rioja
The Carcar family started making wine in Bodegas Bagordi in 1723. At that time they signed a pact with the country. Fourteen generations later, the family continues to care for the land, guided by the same values set by the ancestors. The vineyards lie along the banks of the Ega and the Ebro. The climate is continental-Mediterranean - dry summers followed by cold winters - ideal conditions for organic viticulture. Only natural fertilizers are used and chemical pesticides are avoided.
