The first nose offers us aromas of wild berries. Blackcurrant is king here, fresh and delicious. The powdery notes of cocoa and liquorice are subtly linked to this fruit to compose a complex aromatic picture. The attack is frank, round, with a beautiful melted tannic structure which allows it to improve over the years. We find in the mouth the fruity aromatic palette. It reminds us of the blackcurrant jelly of our childhood. The roasted notes of mocha mingle with a discreet camphor weft, giving it that grain of character and its length in the mouth. Excellent on a 7 hour lamb. For those with a sweet tooth, a dark chocolate and red fruit mousse should be a pleasant companion for this bottle.

Le premier nez nous offre des arômes de baies sauvages. Le cassis est ici roi, frais et gourmand. Les notes poudrées de cacao et de réglisse se lient subtilement à ce fruit pour composer un tableau aromatique complexe. L’attaque est franche, ronde, avec une belle structure tannique fondue qui lui permet de se bonifier au fil des ans. On retrouve en bouche la palette aromatique fruitée. Elle nous rappelle la gelée de cassis de notre enfance. Les notes torréfiées de moka se mêlent à une discrète trame camphrée, lui donnant ainsi ce grain de caractère et sa longueur en bouche. Excellent sur un agneau de 7 heures. Pour les plus gourmands, une mousse au chocolat noir et fruits rouges devrait être un agréable compagnon pour ce flacon.
