Hand harvested when ripe, 100% destemmed and light crushing before vatting. Native yeasts. Aging in barrels (including 30% new). Unfiltered wine.
A deep ruby color and scents of dark cherry and earthiness with soft Merlot influences, light tannins and some acidity. Cherry, berry and some chocolate with a nice mossy flavor. Meat dishes, goat cheese and spicy chicken with veggies go well with this versatile wine.
