Orange Wine

Orange wines are the result of vinifying white grapes the way red wine is normally made. Instead of removing skins after grapes are pressed (as is standard for whites), the juice is fermented in contact with skins. This results in an orange coloured wine.

Orange (orange) wijnen zijn het resultaat van de vinificatie van witte druiven op de manier waarop rode wijn normaal wordt gemaakt. In plaats van schillen te verwijderen nadat druiven zijn geperst (zoals standaard is voor witte wijn), wordt het sap gefermenteerd in contact met de schillen. Dit resulteert in een oranjekleurige wijn.
